License plate LED lights are excellent. I look forward to seeing your pics of the under-door and trunk LED lights. I have been thinking about these.
I never use my fog lamps (front or rear), but up north, they probably are much more useful.

I made the same selection during the weekend...or almost. I left fog lights away.
Few last days it has been fog in the mornings, but like my neighbour Patrick said...
no bigger need for them.
Anyway when my M-Sport bumpers arrive, maybe I'll have to change them just to match
the color of all lights.

What can we do in the way of enhancements to our 530d exhaust tail-pipe tips? I just want some tips that fill out the gap in the diffuser a little better.
I took mine off recently and gave them a good clean, so at least the OEM ones look polished again and not like a 50 year old sewer pipe!
Anyone know of some nicer / larger tips that we can slide straight on to the OEM pipes?
Or will I need to get the existing tail-pipe cut off at the muffler and then have some new ones welded on?
I also ready somewhere that you can slide the OEM 550i tips straight on top of the 530d tips?!
Any ideas?

or go to your local dealer with a block of wood and a hammer, and ask if you can test a 535d
I've dropped an email to my BMW parts contact and see what he has to say -- I'll post up the response as soon as I hear back from them.

I could have done that last week - didn't even think of it.
You mentioned some Hartge exhaust tips when we were in M?nchen. Any news about those?
BTW, while I was getting my new wheel, I had my active carbon cabin air filters changed (5900km past the service time), and I asked my buddy (service dept. manager) if I could make an appointment for an oil change. He said, "No, you don't drive enough. I will call you in May 2010 and tell you when you have a time with us."
