Next mod could be dropping it; From certain angles my Touring doesn't look lowered, maybe its because of the spacers on the rear or just the rims
Anyway, I'm now looking into lowering it a little using an Eibach Pro Kit -- see this post. Any advice would be appreciated, but best to put it in the other post so others can find it easier in the future, thanks.

I tried to remove the bumper and failed.
I watched the tech at BMW do it, and it took him about 5 minutes...![Noexpression](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/noexpression.gif)

Actually, he did it as a part of some other work, and I was not charged anything for it.
The guys at the shop know that I am lackluster when it comes to installing ANY mods that I buy.

I was thinking of lowering my ride, but after my recent drive through Germany for the European Meet, I don't want to mess around with the suspension. When travelling at high speeds and then hitting bumps/dips, especially in the high-speed long curves, it was bordering on uncomfortable. It felt solid and could be driven at those high speeds with confidence, but I would be nervous about messing around with that M-Sport suspension. I have planned more trips back to Germany, so no drop!
The mod urge is getting to me again, so I think a "lights mod" or something along those lines will be next. I saw them on Patrick E61's ride and think it looks great. I think it will contrast nicely with the Carbon Black on mine.
I'm still into the OEM look, so not going to go for a splitter or colour matched grills. Maybe remove the roof rails, if I can somehow get my head around how I would do this without spending much -- its more about change than not liking what I have now!
The rest of you must be up to something, so lets get this Post moving again... what mods have you all been doing or planning recently?

Which lighting mod? The LED rear license plate lights, or the AiB Angel Eye mod?
Both are nice IMHO!

I read through the posts about the Angel Eye mod, changing it from the standard yellow to a cleaner bright white look. I just about understand the DIYs I read, so could probably install it myself with a bit of knuckle scratching and swearing
![Wink](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wink.gif)
However I do not really understand which bulb to go for. The "AiB" seems to be the preffered choice, but it also costs around $300

LED rear license plate is a done deal -- I like it and will order it! (Just to be sure, they are same as the E60 bulbs, right?)

There is another vendor here "brabusw209amg" selling AE bulbs for $85, claims they are as bright as AiBs, good quality, and appears to be getting good feedback -- including from those who have AiBs. So not sure which ones to go for now ![Confused](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

You remove the original light housings and install the new, LED equipped housings. It took 1 minute to change them.
I went with AiB AE's (got a GB price), but I am sure that John (brabusw209amg) can set you up - he is an excellent vendor.
I am handicapped with simple hand tools and printed instructions... so I had my AE's installed at the dealer.

But it only took about 10 minutes per headlight.
