I have just order it. Original from BMW dealer abt. ?100. Part #151 171 2 155 446/47 L/R.
I will install it next week and post some pics.
I recently picked up the latest BMW Accessories catalogue and notice that you can now get the black grills as an OEM item. I don't like the way the matt-black contrasts with the Carbon Black (blue) paint, but constantly toy with the idea of getting a set of colour matched grills for that more agressive look... But then I think about how much I like the executive look of the OEM chrome grills

They'll work well with your Space Grey though.

I think the M5 iDrive knob could be one of my next mods. However when I recetnly phoned BMW to order one, they said it didn't fit I know its not specifically designed for the E60, but it should still fit ok, right???
This is what is needed - got the PN from ///Marco.it

iDrive controller:
65 82 7 836 243

I will attempt to order it tomorrow.

I tried to remove the bumper and failed.

I watched the tech at BMW do it, and it took him about 5 minutes...

Overall, it is a 20 minute job to swap the diffuser and re-install the bumper.
