Loosen all bolts from every rim. We left with my wife to drive, and rim "dropped" off, and that's the result.

So after that happened, i did check every bolt, and all were loose...

Ouch. That could have ended up a lot worse!

It looks like the rear bumper and side skirts are ruined. Any other damage? Brake disc, suspension?

Do you have wheel locks?

Yeah, we both are just fine. Thanks!

Side skirt, rear bumber, wheel, protection plate, wheel hub and brake disc, these are parts that they will change.

New plan: 5 sets on lock bolts.

I think, i'll buy new 20" rims now....

That sounds like a very sensible choice... buying the 20" rims of course

It would be even better if he could get the insurance company to foot the bill!

I've done a major mod to my car...

I bought a Bimmian "Brushed Alluminium" hand brake lever via Nerweezy (Nerwyll) @ Trinity.
Its obviously made a huge improvement to performance, I think I could beat a 550i now. If I had gone for the Carbon finish, I think I could even beat an M5

Its a close colour match to the iDrive knob and auto-shifter, but not 100%. Seeing as the iDrive, auto-shifter and Alu-Cube Trim are all slightly different shades anyway, its not an issue. I'm really pleased with it.

Phone-camera pictures only I'm afraid and the car was dirty, but you get the idea
