luluflight i love your car. i somehow am not a big fan of the m-sport bumpers and like the stock ones better. imho they give a "classy" look to the car. thats why my car has stock bumpers, and a similar dark blue colour to yours. i also thought that the OEM carbon lip is a big misunderstanding on the part of bmw, but seeing it in the pics i think it fits well a dark car. the only thing I still dont like is the middle part, where it imitates a 3-series "mouth". anyways, I also like your winter wheels and might go for these next winter.
keep modding and taking pictures!!

These are the BMW tyre sizes recommended for the 128s, which like your 125s also have been offered in different sizes:
8x19 front 245/35R19 ET 20
9,5x19 rear 275/30R19 ET 32
since 03/04 8,5x19 front 245/35R19 ET 18
since 03/04 9,5x19 rear 275/30R19 ET 32
At E90Post they have a wheel calculator, which enables you to see what the difference in height and width will be.
http://www.e90post.c...isplay.php?f=12
What is also interesting is that they normally have the following tyre sizes when using an 8 + 8,5 combo on the 3-series' 18" rims:
8x18 front 225/40R18
8,5x18 rear 255/35R18
I'm still confused how you ended up with an 8 and an 8,5 rims, rather than a 9,5 for the rear -- very strange!
Anyway, I do understand your problem here and the recommended tyre sizes by BMW do not exactly solve it for you.
I think I would probably just go for the same size tyre all round (245/35R19) and make sure I clearly mark which wheels are 8" and 8.5"! Then use spacers to create the look / stance you want.
Thanks a lot for your nice comments. I appreciate a lot...!

xBMWx, for my summer setup,I decided to go with 245/35/19 (Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta) all around. As you recommended, I will put the 8,5 rims in the back. It's sounds logical!
And now, just a small pictures, took yesterday in Hamburg. Can't wait to see her with her new "shoes"...!

My Ride: 2009 E61 525 xDAT with plenty good stuff (NAV, HUD etc)
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
Hi, It's maybe my turn, got this dreamcar on December 30th 2009, an -09 525 xDAT with some goodies such as HU, glass roof, Navi pro etc. Very satisfied, and definitely quite a few steps up when it comes to driving from our previous Volvo XC70. Especially the x-drive on scandinavian winter roads is a total pleasure, and can not be compared with any 4x4 I've tried in the past. Finding this forum is just another plus, so looking forward to many miles with the bimmer! PS Had to leave the devil's signature on the car's plates, think it is sometimes fitting for it's character... Ola, Lier/Norway

Thats a great car you have there with the new Auto and X-drive; ideal for those winter conditions. What colour is it? Hard to tell from the pics / my screen; Space Grey or Neptune Blue?
![Confused](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Enjoy!

Hi - the colour is Neptune Blue as you guessed. Get's dirty very quickly in winter, but not as bad as black. Thx!

I was just looking through the Gallery section and found these pics of motomoto09's E61 ![W00t](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/w00t.gif)
Its one of the hottest E61s I've ever seen -- the colour, m-sport, drop and rims combo are just awesome!
(I haven't seen it posted here in the E61 forum -- I'm sure he/she doesn't mind
)
