Will try this today Sean, I was always under the impression that Base mode is for communication via OBD which is a BIG no for updating peripherals on MOST bus. Probably I am misinformed.

I spent sometime again today to get my ICOM-B being recognized with no luck.

As Sean suggested, tried setting EasyConnect to REMOTE:Base and locked ICOM, but as soon as I load PABD and P-SGBD, it spits out error below

So, I swtiched it to REMOTE:MOST_ASYNC_ab625 and locked ICOM and again the below error shows up as soon as I enter ECU address 63

Here is the software version of my CIC as read by EasyConnect

I mean this is not rocket science, I am sure there must be something simple that I have been missing all this time. If someone can just help me out in connecting successfully and communicate via ICOM-B, thats all I need. I have all the required tools, both hardware and software and I have done quite a bit of normal coding barring Most bus. Just missing hands on experience using these software tools. I am still being optimistic that this can be resolved.

Proper path is in system PATH variable as below

and my Ediabas folder is in c drive as below

I am using BMW Coding tool to update SP-Daten to V41 and then copying CIC-v41 folders into NFS data folder as documented here

Not sure where the issue is coming from except that my path has C:\Ediabas vs actual folder is C:\EDIABAS
