I have a 2005 530xiT without park distance control, and I am thinking of installing the M-Tech kit. For any of those of you who have PDC and installed the M-Tech kit, can you please tell me if the M-Tech bumper covers come with the PDC sensors in them or do they have to be reused out of the original bumper covers? If the bumper covers for cars with PDC come with the sensors in them, the control module, wiring harnesses, and center console button seem to be under $500 which makes me think it might be a good opportunity to add PDC to my car.

Has anyone done this?

Thanks!!

You need to order the kit with PDC, but you also then need to buy the PDC kit separately, so it will be a costly operation, I'm afraid...

Oh well ... I'm accustomed to not having PDC so I guess that will simply continue.

Thanks for the information!

Though it may be cheaper in the long run, to buy the PDC system etc. as compared to repainting bumpers, and fenders!
