Hello all,
I just purchased a 2006 530xi CPO wagon and was trying to replace the license plate lights with LEDs.
Unfortunately, when I removed the right light, the wiring got disconnected. For some reason the wires to the right light is not long enough to allow me to re-install the light. (it doesn't extend outside the light hole when I pull on it)
Does anyone know how to access the wires so I can re-install the light? How can I do this without having to dismantle the tailgate door? What is the best way to access the wires so I can pull it out of the hole? (I'm assuming it's stuck on something around the door handle mechanism)
