Rear License Plate Mounting

I have the license plate in a BMW frame with 4 lp screws, but only the top two screws go into the car panel. (i.e. there are only two holes drilled into the car.)

My '97 and '00 540 6sp's had 4 but wasn't sure about the '04 545. I'll order the license plate frame I want with 4 mounting holes.
