Default Navigate on CCC with multiable DVDs

Dear All

I just went to France in my E61 2008 with my CCC navigation system

I travel from Denmark through Germany, and Switzerland until final destination France alps Avioriaz

But Denmark, Deutschlandd and Switzerland was on DVD #2 and France was on DVD #1, I think I have cheated the system when I put in DVD #1 and plug in the destination Avioriaz and then change the DVD to #2.

I find out that it took me the wrong way through Switzerland because it has change the Adresse when I change the DVD to #2

So what is the correct procedure when travel in europe when all countries are not on the same DVD.

Is it possble to customise the DVD so i could include the countries i need?

Thanks

Morten

The CCC indeed has several DVD's. I have three for Europe I think. I usually check the supported country dots listed on the back of the DVD box. Usually, most of them have main roads and then you switch to a specific one which also has the small roads and streets.

The moment I leave the main highways I take a parking and switch the DVD. The most annoying thing is that the system has to be switched off for 5 minutes, so you cannot just switch on the go.

I only had to do the switch procedure two times.

The early revision had only one DVD but since they beef'ed up the POIs they moved to three DVD's.
