I hope someone can help me with this..

My interior light in the front, 2 sides and both front doors work fine on my 2005 e61,

however.. the map lights, glovebox light, the lights about each sunvisor and both in the boot do not work?

Some of them flash on for a couple of second as I turn the key but that's it?!

Please someone point me in the right direction..

 

I have the same problem....I replaced the fuses and it didn't help.

but when I open the trunk then all works....lol....when trunk is closed again all not work

Any solutions?

Try to check the wires on left side of the trunk. Just move them around and check whether something changes.
It could be the wire loom that makes a short circuit.
