I have just bought a 2007 post-facelift 530d touring.

I'm having a very minor niggle with the iDrive system.

When listening to my iPod just through the aux port, whenever I turn the car back on it goes back to radio. when I listen to cds and turn the car back on, it goes back to CD.

Am i being stupid or is there a way to get the car to turn on to AUX? I have programmed it in to one of the hotkeys, so it is easily changable. Just a bit annoying

Just a thought, but is the iPod off when you turn on the car? If the AUX port doesn't detect a signal perhaps it goes to the next source.
