Infact most go from No Voice to Extended Voice. You have No Voice with the Pro Nav until you put Extended Voice in.

I only have business nav and no bluetooth on a 2008 E61. I don't suppose I can add EVoice?

Sorry if its a stupid question....

Yes this is possbile. My dealer done it for free and it's just a recode. Don't need to change any parts. This was on a E61 2008 with SA633

if you retrofit professional nav do you lose voice control on bluetooth for phone

so in effect your are kinda forced to get the extended voice control module coded in even with all the wiring already in place

yes. the bluetooth will still work for calls, but to actually dial by voice you need the voice control (it's not really a module, just a software update)

"As mentioned before SVS (Voice recognition) needs the "retrofit kit" part number 84640396162 and the "activation code" part number 65836976392.

May be it?s possible to do ourselves the physical retrofiting. This retrofit is according to EBA 0396163 and EBA 0430248.

Could someone give those EBA?s to the forum and that way decrease the final amount if we do the job ourselves?

Thank you. "

I would love to get this info. much much much appreciate it.
