e61 SOS Malfunction

e61 SOS Malfunction
Started having a weird issue the other day. I have searched high and low for an answer, but I have not found any posts indicating someone has had the same problem.
2008 e61 - comfort access, logic 7, Nav, Premium, Sport. When starting the car, the radio will turn on for a second or 2 and then no sound. a few moments later I'll get an SOS Malfunction warning. When the car is running, the radio (FM, AM, CD, Aux) doesn't work, and the Bluetooth Phone doesn't work. If the car is not running, but the ignition is on, everything works as normal. Radio plays, Phone is paired and you can make calls through the speakers.
I have fixed the sunroof drains and relocated the modules to underneath the rear tray. There is no indication that water caused this issue. I checked the battery voltage through the hidden menu (confirmed with volt meter) and the battery is at 12v when off, and jumps to 14.8ish when it is running. I've visually inspected the diversity antenna for damage, and it was sealed with black silicone so I imagine the PO or dealer had once been in there. There were no signs of water entering or burnt wires or circuit board. I inspected the inside of the MULF to see if there was any indication of water intrusion, etc... but nothing.
Any thoughts ?

In my opinion you have fiber optic loop issue. When I upgraded from ccc to cic and forgot to relocate the fiber optic plug from OEM ccc plug to PnP emulator plug had sos malfunction, since your car has logic 7 amp you loosing also sound cause logic 7 needs fiber optic loop to get digital signal.
