E61 boot size

I need to know the exact measures of the E61 boot. I'm considering purchasing a dog kennel and I have to find one that will fit on the boot. The only measurement I really have to worry about is the boot depth.
Anyone knows the exact boot size of the E61?

The E61's boot size isn't that impressive. Look at the Mercedes E-Class. Or mayby a Volvo...

Max boot depth at the floor level is 1.1m and you can shut the boot. As you raise to the top edge of the back seat to boot is 90cm due to the slope on the rear seat.
The boot lid is then glass and that comes in reducing the distance even more.

I was curious too - so when I test drove a 525dSE Touring recently I took a tape measure. Width was 44" (112cm), depth Central was 40" (102cm). Looking at the boot is appears longer than it is broad - enough to make me measure it twice!. Hope this helps.
