Wow, thanks a lot for this, I had not realized there are such great pics in this thread, even though I got the video screenshot from there!
I downloaded all relevant pics from the thread and at first sight things look rather f***d up:
- Pull-rod #14 for E61 M5 only fits together with braces #18 for E61 M5 (instead of brace #7 of the normal E61)
- But braces #18 won't clear the exhaust of a normal E61 530d (mine)!
- Therefore I can not mount the whole E61 M5 set-up, unless I modify the exhaust.
- It remains to be tested if the E60 pull-rod #14 can be mounted on the E61 with less modifications than the exhaust scenario..
- BUT: the E61 set-up will be more rigid as parts #14, #18 and #21 are interconnected
- It remains a mystery why on the RealOEM graph there is one item #18 and one item #21 needed, while on the pics both sides of the V-shaped brace look identical (and different from item #7 on standard E61s).
