Does anybody know of a good location for a chassis ground around the battery area? I am looking to install a pure sine wave inverter for medical equipment and it needs a chassis ground in addition to the negative lead in the battery.

I wish I have more time to tinker but I have a special need child in the house so I can't hang by my car too long. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Sorry, can't help with your question but be aware that if the inverter draws any power when the car is switched off the IBS (Intelligent Battery Sensor) may get confused and prevent the car from going into sleep mode.

That's a very good point. I will keep that in mind.
