Sounds fair to me, it's less than the price of a standard OE chrome grill here and you get individual

Only choice for body colored grills is to get it custom painted then? Any place I could order an Alpine White grill surround?

I bought them from my BMW dealer. EUR135,- including VAT and having them fitted.
It also included the collect and return service, as well as the normal cleaning inside and out... not to mention avoiding the blood and sweat of fitting them myself!

Ebay grills may be cheaper for equipment only, but with all the extras, I found it good value from BMW.

I agree both ways it will look good no matter which way you go. But my personal preference is to leave it chrome, it looks better. But ultimatly its your car.
