My Ride: E61 - 525Da with sports pack & some more stuff (color = carbon black with kastanjebraun leather)

Hey guys,
thx for the feedback.
I was first liking the hamann grill a lot, but I started thinking about the different 'structure' of the grill in the upper and lower front . Although I still like the look of member "ats77" a lot.
After (not) thinking about it for a few days (delivery of other baby ...) and seeing the replies and pictures I guess this is what I'll do :
- order a black grill
- have it painted carbon black (same as "subterFUSE" did)
I think it will look great, If not I can still replace it with the original part, no ?
"mlist84", great pictures, I could make up my mind with them. Although pictures are quite dark (blackish :->), are the grills complete black or still some chrome there ?
Btw, updated the location in my profile.
Anyone knows the place to buy such a (painted) grill ?

Best is if that matches your color, no body can beat that.
ps. my Hamann is oem greyish, I did ask the shop to paint all the spoilers and grills to Jet Black that is so much better. No chrome on a dynamic BMW

btw we have to meet once in BE. (maybe more in June as May will be busy....)

Hi all,
I ordered a 525d touring with sport pack etc... in carbonblack.
I saw an advertisement on ebay for a black grill for the e60 series.
Has anyone done this, any pics ?
Attachment 17930
Can this black be combined with the carbon black ?
Other suggestions, links ?
thx,
J

Try one of these little babies. Grill starts off chrome, but eventually goes carbon black to match your car

Hey chaps,
If I can't find any chickens over here I sure know where to get them now :->
If asked a company here for a price on a paint job, price is 140 ? for the paint job (carbon black)
& the grill itself.
Is this a fair deal ?
kwwwoooook

Well if it is just for the paintjob, i wouldn't do it because in my opinion it is too much for a simple grill...
