Default 2006 BMW 530xi wind shield wiper stops where it wants to.

My 2006 E61s windshield wiper will get stuck in random areas. I cannot repeat the mist option more than twice and both times the wipers will stop on random areas of the windshield then my wipers won't move at all the 3rd time and then I'm forced to drive around with my wipers stuck on front of my face which is embarrassing lol. So, I'd have to turn the car completely off, turn it back on, hit the wipers and then turn it completely off to get it to stay at the down proper position. All fuses looks good, wipers blades are new, and I've switched out the relay with a new one. Is there anything else I can try? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

You don't have a power issue because they are moving. Have you had the windshield replaced recently? If not the you may have a wiper motor going bad.

Sounds like a complete waste of time. A properly functioning system would still manage to drag 100 year old rock hard wipers across your windshield. Look elsewhere like wiring, motor, assemblies binding, etc.

I'll check the wiper motors. I'll post back if it worked or not. Thank you
