Fitted my LCI rears at the weekend had to swap some pins around in the BMW conversion leads and recoded and i have no errors at all now after a good 12 months it's nice to get into the car and not have a gong sound with light bulb failure. But its an expnsive way to go error free.
Plus side the LM2 has loads more functions.
So just wanted to thank everyone who helped with advice.

The LM2 didn't fix the errors for me, but I wanted it for my LCI tails retrofit anyway. (I also have welcome lights now)
I have now found that having all bulb checks 'nicht_aktiv', gives no errors. I'm pretty sure I can turn most of the bulb checks back on with trial and error, but disabling the bulb checks for the angel eyes alone isn't enough for some reason.
If I add xenon lights to the VO then this also stops the errors from the angel eyes, but doesn't allow me to adjust the beam level. (although it does auto adjust when first turned on) I think I should be able to fix this, but I have just left all bulb checks disabled without xenons on the VO for the time being.
I'll keep you updated.

@ bmwfive: Check LM trace and set
LEUCHTWEITENREG_AUTOM_0E
nicht_aktiv
LEUCHTWEITENREG_DYNAM_0E
nicht_aktiv
Had the same probs after adding $522 to FA.
After you made the change, you can re-enable bulbchecks

Sas/anyone who has made the harness for an UK/RHD car, can you please confirm if these are the correct parts/amounts to make it myself?
2x 61136931864 - 12 POL Socket housing
20x 61136901728 - Jack MQS ELA
2x 61136913653 - Covering cap
10x 61138353706 - Rubber grommet
10x 61138364838 - Socket contact ELO-Power 2, 8x0, 63
20x 61138366245 - Sealing grommet
10x 61138372626 - Rubber grommet ELO-Power 2, 8x0, 63
14x 61130007572 - Round plug-in contact 2.5 ELA with cable
2x 61138373573 - Wiring light regulator
2x 61138352576 - 8 POL Universal socket housing uncoded
177 euro quote from the dealer not sure if I rather not just cut my plug for that price and buy the 40 euro retrofit cable kit.
I also remember reading that jas or someone in the UK had a problem with the Sas harness, the plug being the other way around? Is that just a matter of rotating it around or another plug type is needed?
530dE60 mentioned this diagram here. Has that been verified by anyone here?
This thread is great, just read 26 pages worth of great info

That's the parts list, but 177 EUR is to much, should not be more than 90 EUR.
When you buy the harnas, you don't get the wiring light regulator, nor the 8 pol socket, meaning that you wil have to remove your existing sockets and attache the wires directly to the 12 pol socket. If you are not planning to reinstall your pre-LCI lights, when you sell the car, you can buy the retrofit cables.
For the 8 pol socket, UK or non UK, there is no other way than using it up side down, BMW does not sell one, it's integrated in the light units.
I used the diagram in this thread, didn't have to put a resistor, other members were less fortunate and had to use one. If you get AE errors than the diagram you linked is good.
And that dude from the UK had problems before he used my cables, he just "forgot" to mention it. And he still owes me the money
So it's up to you, making a plug and play cable you can remove or a permanent one.

I almost got my hands on a pair of LCI halogens, but they were in bad condition so I'm looking for that or a pair of Bi-Xenons (no AHL).
For the harness shop list below, I assume I need more parts since Bi-Xenon also needs an extra wire to pin 8 right?
What amounts would need to change below?

2x 61138373573 - Wiring light regulator
2x 61138352576 - 8 POL Universal socket housing uncoded
Add 2x to the amounts in blue?

If you go to Bi-Xenon than you need LM2, also a wire from LM2 to pin 2 (extra ground) on the 12 pol LCI socket.
For that extra wire you do need to add 2 to the amounts in blue.
The 8 pol socket, and also the wiring for the light regulator, is used to connect to the existing plugs, they are now plugged in your pre-LCI lights.
