by the way, maybe i read this part wrong, but u said once the headligths are on you may lose 50% of the angeleyes, is that correct?
When it is mounted correct , the Angel Eys light 100% when , A: the light switc is in position 0 ( day running light ) or, B: light switc in position "automatic" ( one step to the left ) , but her only in full daylight.
The LM control it so , that when the light switc is in "parking light" or "full light" position ( or full light over the automatic function ) the power supplly to the Angel Eys bulb is reduced to ca 50% ,to counteract the orifices of the oncoming car's.

If you like me have the LM 154 944 , the LM can be coded to LCI LED taillights ( But only if it is Org. LCI LED taillights , not aftermarked LED taillights ), the coding are done with PROGMAN at a BMW dealership.

Hi All
At last we suceed to get the Dynamic Drive to function on the LCI headligt last night , as previous we have tried to code without any sucees , but as we coded the optin SA654 ( DAB tuner ) , and made a total coding of this ( with PROGMAN/SSS ), suddently after that the ALC was working , so status is , when you perform a upgrade to LCI headlights w. ALC you will have to do :
This is to do it if you already have Xenon w. ALC ( pre LCI model's ), the LCI headlights I used ( re-fitted ) had the BMW part no . 177-733 & 177-734
1 : Mount the wirring according to the upgrade manual from BMW ( see attached link in previous post )
2 : No wire's have to be re-directed from AHL unit to LM2 unit , as previous written about in this thread.
3 : Change the ALC box'es to BMW part no. 189-312 ( if you can get som used from another BMW E60/61 LCI , coding will not be nessecery ).
4 : Is the car before 03/2005 , you will have to change to LM2 ( light modul type 2 ) 154-944 ( then you are also ready for the LCI taillights later . if you not choose to do this at the same time )
End of a long long journey uphill , so good luck to all who want to make a similar mode , the journey should now be more " straight away" for you
Best Regards
BenAnd

I have a couple of questions on the light retro.. I have the tail lights "new from Gary" and the headlights from ebay "both from 2008.. I just ordered the wire kit from Roveractive rip off by the way..Roveractie reported that BMW doesnot have the LCM anymore..True or Not or what replaces it now.. Second i have read the thread over a couple of times and in the middle you have to change some of the wires around.. Is this still true because at the end you stated that it wasnt necessary.. My car is a 2004 530i,unsure of the exact build date due to i am in Iraq til march now.. I will be doing all of the hard work myself because I have some skills to do so.. And to save some money..All of your knowledge on this subject will be greatly appriciated..
