I am not sure about the EAS module but most of similar devices send fake speed (2km/h)to the CIC to bypass this protection. I think I do not have to explain that it can have a negative impact on other features including your navigation.

But I'm not interested in changing the AC controls. I'm looking for some smart solution for that...

Yes it that one. it doesnt have to be p/n 64119177715. if you find any of those 3 it will work. I ordered one from ebay for $100, used of course.
