What is the top speed limiter set at in an M5?

So was doing over the normal limit, and my friend said that he hit 155mph and the limiter kicked it :thumbsdown:

mine didnt stop going @ 155 , could that mean i have a tune or something?

AFAIK, 155 in the what the governor is set @. But you being able to go over 155 does not necessarily mean you have flash, someone could have just simply disabled the governor...

It's supposed to be 155 but it varies with different cars. Some have gone up close to 170 stock. Also, there's a speedometer variance so even if it says 170, you might really be only going 160ish.

Its 168mph! Tony remember the last Vegas Mfest when me and Kenny were racing right after state line I had the stock tune and my car died at 168mph and Kenny passed me where he hit 194mph.

Based on the conversion via google.... i had my car (which is completely stock) 275kmh which is 171 mph..

no kickout at all.. i let off of course.. but it was still climbing at 275
