HAHAH you hit the nail on the head.. I love how he talks and get interupted like 10 times by the Nav... I've had my car 13 months now and have NEVER even heard that GPS voice lol.

And the review on the M5, particularly on the criticism of the e60, for eg the navigation, we all know that it can be turned off very easily. Just from the map, just left movement of the iDrive and you can just press the iDrive button where the speaker icon is.
And the gearbox being jerky and rolling up and down the hills, that was not a negative criticism on E60 but negative on only M5 models - due to SMG, not the 6 speed automatic/manual gearbox that are present in the e60.
And Clarkson didn't really only like the car because of the "M" button, he praised a lot of things like the HUD - which is in most E60 given that you say "yes" to the options, and the M5 seats bolstering you when cornering etc (I SO wished it was in the E60 5 Series but was not )
I agree with the Porsche guy, he did ultimately praise the M5 and even put it close to the F430, which we all know the M5 lost badly in the Top Gear drag race against the F430 -_-
And if you look at other Clarkson DVDs where he is in America and compares the 300C souped up version to the M5, he says nothing but praise of the M5.
