did he PWN u? just curious

We did about 10 - 12 consecutive 3rd gear pulls. P'Tom was ahead by 1.5 car lengths. The m5 did pull closer but we ran out of room. Eventually the m5 would probably take over but that would have yo be a looooong stretch of road. You must remember the m5 is older and outdated compared the panameras, c63s, etc.

Great, now I'm even more confused. Hahahahaha! LOL!

Hey Tony - The only reason your car is fast is because of your 2 lb wheels, not because of anything else.
and not to mention he only weights 79lbs!lol

Wow this is a very interesting thread. I'm now completely baffled on the tuning front I think I'm gonna let C be the east coast guinea pig and take it from there

This may be a stupid question and I know the answer from a product marketing standpoint already. Would it be unreasonable to dyno 2 M5's at RPI (as Eloy seems to have a large enough customer base as he mentioned he dyno'd over 200 M5's). One stock with only the ESS tune. Do the first pull and then have Jags come in and do the tune while the car is on the dyno to keep the conditions the same, then do a second pull. Do the same process with a second M5 with standard bolt-ons (pulley, headers, full exhaust, scoops, air filters,etc.). The results will tell the tale.

Again I realize this gives a definitive answer to who has the better tune and makes the opposing tune much harder to sell. Just wouldn't mind seeing them go head to head in an unbiased test to determine whose claims are the real deal.

Rab tried the tune from England. Shipped his ecu all the way there and sent back, only to lose power.
Hope you don't mind me asking who the tuners in England were? Sorry for my ignorance if they have already been mentioned here. I just need to know because I was contemplating sending my ECU to CA Automotive in the UK.

Thanks in advance

Hmm...maybe I'm wrong but I don't think Eloy meant that he dynoed 200 different M5s but that he has well over 200 M5 dynos. It doesn't really matter but I just don't think there's even that many M5s in SoCal; or at least that many that are into modding enough to get dynos done.

But regarding your idea, I think Eloy already has a good base of dyno info on ESS otherwise he wouldn't have partnered with them. He just needs to do some other M5s with the Singh tune.

I thought the same thing it just reads that way. Its one of those lost in translation on the internet things. If he's had 200 M5's ]come through the shop its even more impressive No doubt he has the info. The only reason I suggest to do them in sequence was that Eloy would be able to make a fairer comparison based on the conditions being the same(straps, fan, angle, etc.)

Even that's generous. He's like a little crawfish. God knows, he eats enough of them.
