My Ride: 2008 E60 / M5 Space Gray / Indie Red Interior SMG Comfort Rear and side shades ect...

Hope everything worked out, best to wait until ur reading is at the lowest mark before u add oil.
I no longer have a numerical reading for my oil levels in the dash, did I loose that with a software update?

A new oil level sensor was installed, and new oil change done under warranty

I almost had the same thing. Yesterday the car showed 0.2 ( too low) I filled up around a quarter it hit 1.4 and had no messaged after that.
