My Ride: See sig :)
I had a message come on saying engine oil level low. Add 1 quart. So I did.. goto start the car, and now it says "Engine level too high" Wtf!?
Should I be concerned? I tried to use the oil extractor thingy to take some oil out, but had no luck...(I guess because the pipe isnt reaching the oil pan, too much motor in the way)

Yea that's not great for the engine, if it's not a lot then you can still drive the car....just keep the revs low,..also it's a good idea to change to oil after you have extracted the excess, since the oil gets shaken up and airated, which decreases it's lubricating ability...

the dealer can extract the extra oil. try and do a reset first, make sure the car is warmed up and sitting on a level surface. if its only .1 or .2 i wouldnt worry about it. it will burn off quickly anyways.

Maybe you need to reset the oil first using the check button, it takes a time (about 5 to 15 minutes) then it will calculate the measure of the oil.
It is on the book-manual.

Did you reset the oil indicator? If you did and its still reading too high go get a bit drained. Better safe than sorry. I did the same thing and drained a bit a while back and felt much better after. Local BMW shop charged me 25 bucks which was a small price to pay. No issues.
