I was at the dealership yesterday to buy a 118i for my brother.
The salesrep took us too the garagesection and there was a brand new Blue/purple M5 with the light grey leather (I think it was merino or something). One of the mechanics had to move the car from the bridge to the waxing department.... WOOOOWWWW this car has an awesome sound in it. Even at stationary revs it sounds so high pitched..
I asked him if he would give it a few small pushes on the accelarator and the mechanic did it (maybe to 3000 rpm)... Whoooohooo... Bizar!!!

Just to really bed in the new tyres, I?m going on a 4000km holiday trip through Europe!
A lot of autobahn and also small twisty backroads in Germany 
Nurburgring ( some laps ) and Hartge ( maybe lowering springs and exhaust ) will get a visit on the way home
