I guess that's just his preference on tire sizes. I have 255/35/20 up front and 285/30/20 in the rear. That's the most common set up for 20x9 and 20x10 wheels on the M5.

Wish I could help you with the springs question but I've never used Eibachs or H&Rs. I had RDSport springs before my KW V3s.

Had the chance to compare setups with a friend of mine a few days ago!

He's rolling on ACS 20 inch wheels and H&R springs. I am rolling on Breyton 20 inch and Eibach springs.

My car site much lower than his, but ride is softer! I drove his car and his ride is much harsher than mine.

What is the drop on the H&R and Eibach? I assume that the front and back is different? Can someone provide the specific details with reference to the specific H&R's and Eibach used?

Thanks

I believe H&R is 1.2 inch upfront and .75 inch rear and Eibach is 1.2 and .6 and I am talking about the street one.

I had H&R springs on me 530i and recently put eibachs on my M5.. the difference is is ridiculously noticeable. The Eibachs feel almost like the stock suspension and ride extremely well. My 530 would shake at around 60 mph and I always thought it was due to unbalanced wheels or a defect in my wheels, but I now know it was the springs. Go with Eibach!

Yea, honestly the Eibach's feel just like stock. I didn't notice a difference (in terms of ride comfort) after I put em on
