Why doesn't the car have foglights?
Is there rear foglights that can be activated? I know with the E9xs it's possible.
How do you set the Air Conditioner to blow through the vents individually? I did
Where are the daytime running lights?
Can somebody explains these things to me?

Does the option the car came with have anything to do with any of these questions?

TIA

Deaon

It has front brake ducts instead, which is a tradeoff they thought acceptable for a performance vehicle.

No.

You can't specify individual vents, but you can set the driver and passenger high, middle, and low vents throgh the idrive settings menu.

The pre-LCI have them in the inner headlights lights. The LCI cars use the angel eyes.

Yes.

No.

YW.

I believe you need the dealer to activate the inner lights for DRLs on pre-LCI cars for US-spec vehicles. I had to do that with my 545 and I don't remember seeing an option in iDrive to activate them on my M5. Unless I missed it.... I believe the option is there in cars from Canada.

Are you sure about that? I thought that's the way they were as default.

I have a 2006 model M5, and I can activate DRL through the iDrive menu. DRL's will only work if your light knob is positioned to Auto ( left ).

In my case, my headlights come on all the time! Not my angel eyes.

Angel eyes DRL are on LCI models.

Yeah you can't do that with US-Spec pre-LCI cars. There's no option in iDrive to activate the DRLs. I have my light switch set to Auto all the time. The inner (DRL) lights do not come on. As a default, they're only used as flash-to-pass highbeams unless you have the dealer activate them to come on as DRLs.
