Coming from an E46 330Ci (which I highly modded) I thought this was true. I thought my 330Ci was just like an M3 except that the M3 had ~100 more hp. Get your buddy into some kind of racing driving program, before we have another mama's boy popping buck forty on residential blocks. Alright, and no jealousy - just dumbfounded that any parents would give such a beast to a kid - don't they realize the amount of responsibility is practically insurmountable at an early age to be able to drive an M5 on public streets safely? I don't know... I hope your buddy is careful and takes a racing school or two to be sure to know the difference between track and road
