My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
My family was fortunate enough to be better off than most people in post-communist Russia, but I've always wanted to work. I've had odd jobs and part-time gigs since I was like 9yo. By the time I was 16 I've gone from returning empty bottles for pennies to selling computers to up-starts. Then I came to the States and it back to square one - started at a wire factory painting the roof and floors in 100+ degree heat. Now I hold a well-respected position at a hedge fund, but what most people like Mini V do not realize is that there was 15 years of struggle in between. Its not like you decide to give it a little effort and boom - you have an M5 a week later. So as far as I'm concerned, its not that he doesn't "deserve" his M5 - more like, he's a little blind kitten, who's trying to fly an F-16. All in all though, I wouldn't change my life for any other. I doubt he can say the same with the same kind of conviction about his.

Damn, I wish my parents bought me a car when I was younger, ALL the cars I've had, I paid for. I'm all for buying my kid(s) a car or whatever they want just as long as they know that Daddy and Mommy had to work hard for it.

Hey guys let's not bash all young M5 drivers. Remember, my friend is 19 with an M5. I'm 19 with a 530xi looking to get an M5. My brother is 21 with a highly modded Subaru STi. We're young but we're not ALL retarded like 550ifreak.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
I think we all know that not all young drivers are as reckless and stupid as the OP. Krozi is 17, has an M3, and is more mature than some people double his age. Unfortunately, you and Krozi seem like exceptions to the rule (otherwise young drivers wouldn't have such astronomical insurance rates).
