If you just tell me the radius of curvature divided by the total angle, and give me the width of each corner I will be able to tell you . Just Kidding.

Now here are three well known tracks

1. Imola
2. Oschersleben
3. Valencia

If you look on their structure you will find that the first track, Imola, best suits fast cars. That is why Alfa Romeos defeats BMWs on this track in the WTCC because the rear wheel drive BMWs have better handling but lower speed.

Track 2, Oschersleben, is exactly the opposite as it appears clearly in its structure.

Track 3, Valencia, is what you are looking for IMO. It is very balanced between high speed corners and short radius curves.

So:
Track 1, the M5
Track 2, CSL
Track 3, I guess the M5, but I don't know for sure.

I hope this info was useful.

Cheers .

Yes Valencia suits best my description. That kind of track that can set both cars some problems...meaning the m5 would have a problem keeping up in those high speed corners but in the hairpins also, an the csl on the faster straights.

Another reason Alfa Romeo "is still in the game" is the wtcc rules that states that all cars with FWD can drop 20 kilos...so bmw being the only one rwd is disadvantaged. It was a new rule in 2005. It's like bmw's go with at least 20 kg of balast in every race
