ED has to be the only way to take delivery.? The first drive,? in her homeland.? Those that have taken an ED,? I assume the car is prepped for an ocean voyage the same as a normally delivered car? (i.e. wax coating blah blah....)

Nope. None of that. The car I picked up from the dealer in California had the Spanish and French bugs still on the headlights and front bumper from our drive from Barcelona to Nice.

I don't think its a big deal. They spend 6 weeks on a car carrier, mostly indoors. Not that much exposure to the sea air.
