I'm on H&R's and Bilstein B8's. You probably already know, but I've been having some issues with the roads - they aren't smooth enough

I am on H&R also, LOVE the look but HATE the ride! I was thinking of replacing the stock shocks with Bilstein but heard I would be in the same boat. I am probably going to spend the cash and go with the KW's. . Good luck, let us know how you make out.

Ha! I've been this route before..

You do the mod, and then the ride goes to hell..

I'm not sure if i can take that pain again.

while it certainly looks better, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Sat in a friend's car on H&R and it was pretty rough. I have stock but 19" rims and ride in his car felt much much firmer than mine.

Winter is coming buddy - do you really want to go down that pothole filled roads on H&Rs?

A BMW without a decently tuned suspension is not even worth it, if you ask me. If you want true sport suspension on your xi, you really need to pony up for the KW V3's. They're phenomenal. Your care will handle great, ride as smooth or firm as you'd like, and provide the cosmetics of a lowered look.

If all you want is a lowered look and you don't give a crap about ride or performance, then get the H&R's.
