I really appreciate what you guys are doing there . This thread along the others gives me a lot of inspiration to start switching the M5 fenders. They've been laying around long enough.

There, I fixed it.

Do the fenders!!!!

!

I'll do, sir!
It will probably take yet 2-3 weeks before I get them done, due to my work. But I'm sure you'll see Eric in business again!

LOL. Tin can...sounds like you have the love/hate relationship going on. I do too. Just because I don't drive the car too much and it's just sitting there everyday in garage depreciating.

A tip for the plastic cutters - don't cut all the way through plastic. Instead take your time going around the entire light several times continuously moving. This way you will get a little deeper with each pass and the line will be thin. If you try to cut all the way through one piece and continue this way all the way around the light you'll have tons of edges to shave off and your cut will be wide because of the melt-down you will get. Wear a mask so you do not breathe in any fumes if you do melt plastic....or catch some plastic dust for that matter. Nice mod, I've never had the nerve to do it on a BMW. If I had to I would (carefully) but never needed to.

LOL V you are crazy man.

I have to restore the plastic cover now. I put it together as a mock up and they look worn so... I made this project a little longer because I am taking my sweet time!

I want it perfect...

So I finally got around to finishing both lights. Now the hard part. Resealing and waterproofing. I will start that tomorrow after we graduate these Troops.

Sorry for the crappy pic.
