I think we'll need to know more about your budget and what type of mods you're looking to do. You don't want to double the price of your car for 10hp...how about doubling it if you get 180hp (RDSport R54 motor conversion) 
Seriously though, Dinan products are pretty good and their parts are warranted mile-per-mile to match BMW's factory warranty. One of the main reasons I've opted for their stuff.
Or you can go with what others have suggested: E60 cling, tinted windows, clear bra...oh and how about carbon fiber or colored roundels and a new license plate frame?
