My Ride: Sapphire Black 545i with Steptronic, Nav, Sports Package, and Rear Window Shade
Default

Hello all,
I've been a silent member on this forum for about 15 days now!!! Not long I know... its hard to keep my mouth shut about my car. Anyways, I want to mod my 545i. However, I have a couple of stipulations:
1st I don't want to void the warranty
2nd I don't want to spend a lot of money... I don't want to double the cost of the car just for 10 HP
3rd I like to keep the stock look to it....

I did see a Sapphire black M5 being delivered. Now if only I had a sugar momma!!!!!

1. M-kit: $2500
2. M5 wheel/tires: $3000
3. Sound system, if applicable, $2000
----------------------------------------------
Total $7500
That's good enough for now

Thank you for the reply, however, I want to keep the stock look, thus no on the M-kit and tires. Additionally, I've spoken with some installers in the local area and they tend to shy away from our cars. To technical. I've heard good things about the K&N filter.. but that's about it...

They're scared of your car because they don't know much about E60 electrical wiring diagrams. Some members here can replace/install new head unit, why can't your installers? It proves that they're not technical enough.

From what u say you can't do much. You don't want to change the aspect of the car so this is a dead chapter and 2nd there is no way to improve your car, and i really mean improve it WITHOUT spending lots of money or WITHOUT possibly voiding the warranty. K&N filter. Pffff money blown away for nothing. Ecu remap...hey warranty remember? So...your case is kinda dead. Sorry.

Sounds like you need to move on to something else. Perhaps a nice Volvo.
Yeah, K&N is useless. And what good is a nice car on stock wheels?

How about changing the euro reflector of your car? Have you done that? It's relatively cheap and it doesn't void warranty... JK..

Yeah keep the money for the mod in the bank and use it for your future car..
