Adjust compression and rebound the same amount unless you really know what your doing with the suspension set up. Generally keeping the two close together will prevent any headaches.

Can anyone comment on exactly how stiff the stiffest setting are on KW V3's? I'd like to experiment and am curious if full hard will be brutal or just "race stiff".

Hey T mack. I installed mine yesterday and I've been adjusting as I go. Initially, the set up was to hard for me at factory settings. ( or I assume that was factory) but as I drive, I keep stopping and changing the settings.
So far, I've changed it 4 times. I like my shocks soft like a 7 series so I am playing with the bottom(rebound) to be perfect. Then from there, I'll make the top(compression) a bit stiffer if needed to. I want it to be like a brand new car but softer. I'll keep you posted on pics and adjustment . Ps.... My front coils are 3 threads from the bottom and still not low enough for me.
Maybe they have to settle? I'm not sure.

Oh yea, FYI ... The manual says Never to ride Full closed(hard) or Full open(soft)
Set in the middle and adjust from there.

I just adjusted it again. I'm all the way Down on the front and still not low enough. Wth?
Maybe something else has to get tweaked. I made The rebound softer. Let's see how it rides today
