what is a heating control circuit and how do i replace it

Default what is a heating control circuit and how do i replace it

my e60 525i gave me a P00500 error and after looking it up it said it was my heater control circuit b2s1 and i was wondering if that's just another name for my o2 sensor and if its not where is the circuit located and if anyone knows of any videos or books that explains how to replace said part i would be very greatfull
