pre heating system with remote control

I have a preheating system with remote control installed. My dealer dont have a manual for this. Is there somebody who can help me how the remote control of this system is working ?

-push mode untill green light come on
-then push run untill green light stop blinking
-now it should run about 1/2-hour
I hope I remember it right. It has become so automatic action to me.

I've got the factory installed system. Huge a$$ remote with three buttons: On, OFF, MODE. I have to push MODE first, then ON... if I remember correctly.
Car is at the dealer right now, will check next week when I've got it back.
