What does CD Changer pre-wiring look like?
#1
I'm interested in the iPod integration and realize after searching that it is a straight-forward install assuming you have the pre-wiring for the CD Changer. I looked behind my glove box last night and saw some wiring that was more or less "taped" up, but I could see what appeared to be a connector in the middle of it (connector was wrapped as well). I didn't want to yank on the wiring, but it appeared that the end of the loop was somehow connected or routed to the back of the fusebox somewhere, but I couldn't really tell.
I realize this would be better with pictures, but if I unwrap this wiring, is this the CD prewire that is required?
Any help is appreciated.

as far as i know all E60's had the pre wiring for the multi changer, as it is the most common retro fit, it should be there inside your glovebox, behind the plastic cover......plug and play but you need to re-code your car.
