what do you guys use to take care of those deep dishes

any wax or polishing compound u guys use? my polished lip is losing its shine.....
anyway my lip are not exactly brilliant polished... it looks reflective when viewed from the side but when viewed from the front or rear of the car its not clear and not reflective.. anyone knows what finish is that? and what material is that?

heard from a friend is that if your lip is made of stainless stell...can be polished till very brilliant.... whereas aluminium cannot... and stains in aluminium cannot be removed..
any comments on this?

If it is coated metal, you can't polish it with a metal polisher, you have to use a neutral cleaner or else the coating will fade, crack or peel. But if you have uncoated metal (lips), the stuff I use is WENOL RED (to clean) / WENOL BLUE (POLISH). It works awesome and I use those on my iForged. The way to check if you have uncoated or coated wheels is rub a bit of polish on the lips and if the towel turns black, it means you have bare (uncoated) metal. Otherwise, it's coated.
