yes i agree.
The HREs will cost me about $1200 more compared to an Iforged wheel or Avus..and the resale value is high too so ummm HRE 540R(black center) with 255-30-20 and 295-25-20 Michelin PS2stotal installed will run me around $6200..ouch and the IForged Daytonas same configuration will run me $5100
Hey man I would definatly go with iForged.. HRE's are over priced iForged is the new HRE.. go to www.d2autosport.com call them up ask for Derick. Tell him Jason with the Hamann 5 series sent you. He can get you a pretty good deal on a set of iForged let me know how it works out.

You are absolutely right. HRE will sell way faster and higher than ANY other rim PERIOD. I think the extra 1100 is DEFINITLY worth it. And if you get the 840 wheels......wow. I mean there really is no other rim out there that can even come close to the looks of that wheel.

Iforged is a good wheel dont get me wrong but if I had the choice to spend an extra 1k for HRE's I definitly would.

I like the 540s but there nothing compared to the 840s in my opinon.

This thread keeps growing. Pick one already! J/K.

I've always loved the mesh look on a bimmer, so having said that, the 540's are the way to go.

However, here's why I choose the Daytona's over the 841's:

1) Price;

2) I actually like the look of a three-piece wheel, you know, the rivets along the edge of the wheel center (although the 840 series are also three-pc, the hardware is hidden :thumbsdown: ). However, if you prefer this cleaner look, iForged can build the Daytonas as a one-piece;

3) I think iForged can build the Daytonas with a more aggressive offset = big lips, in case you happen to like that look.

...and for what it's worth, you seem to like a sporty look for your car. I'm basing this on the rims you've been selecting. Therefore, stay away from chrome. A chrome wheel center and/or chrome lip is too bling.

Thanks guys! For the price I think I'm inclining into the HRE 540Rs but now since I say Soc_fans car, I like the redenergier again and its very close in price to the HRE540r Eurocarfan has also the Redenergier wheels but with the black face which are too sporty for me..here is a pic of Soc_fans

also HRE makes a wheel similar to the Redenergier style that I need to find out more

DAMN more choices but getting close.

Both are awesome wheels. What drew me to the Radenergies was the way the spokes extended all the way to the inner lip. It gives the impression that the spokes are longer. With the HRE, the spokes usually extends to the bolted inner ring.

That's just my opinion and probably won't matter to most.
