My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
Is the DVD player a standard size head unit?
Do you need to cut the trim piece that houses the DVD player? Mine doesn't have NAV and it has a plastic black hole in the trim piece. If you have the same piece, how do you remove the plastic cubby hole?
Thinking of adding a new CD player to my car without taking out the stock CD player...
Thanks!

1. Thanks Dom - I'll take her back to the guy who fitted it and see if the change in power tap works better.
2. kchan - I had the same black piece which was removed - the DVD player is DIN-1 size and the trim was not cut in anyway - it was fitted slightly deep to the surface but works fine. I'm not sure how to remove the trim as I didn't do it myself - but if you search this forum I'm sure you will ge detailed instructions on it. Thanks

Drive to NorCal and I'll do it for you.
You ask this question too late because I went down to Central Cali Greet and Meet, installed M5 mirror for BoBoB and swap EBMCS03's IS "Steptronic" wiring. I could do the installation for you then.

I'm not sure if anyone has told you or not..... but your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. Maybe you should have the dealer check that out?

We'll probably say that to you too!! But I know, I've been driving with LHD cars since I started driving, now I'm in Thailand, I'm driving RHD cars, been a year now and no problemo. Getting used to both!
