be patient and get the RPI/ESS tune. It will be available shortly
Any chance RPI will be working with a NYC area tuner so that the many members who live in the NYC area won't have to take out their ECUs and ship them to LA (something that I would never do)??

well dinan's gains are posted with all three...so if you get the intake and throttle body they are optimized by the software...
however, dinan claims that with intake throttle body, exhaust and stage 3 software you have 390hp a gain of 30 over stock....if you add their claims individually the thrttle body-4hp add, intake=18hp add, exhaust=6hp add that equals a total of 28hp gain....thus assuming that the software only adds 2hp for $699 stage 3....their numbers just dont make sense to me!
Horsepower gains from different mods are not additive that's why the math does not work. Different mods have different peak and max gains at different RPMs.

not to mention mods and remaps/flashes of one brand tend to be designed to work in conjunction with each other..so stick with the same manufacturer if possible...mixing and matching different mods from different companies can possibly work against you rather than for you....

Powerchip and Upsolute has about the same gain while dinan has the weakest gains and the most expensive as well. Most people get the reflash based on the convienience as it won't dramatically effects your car unless you have a TT.

Which tune did you end up getting? So many choices...

ESS, RPI, Powerchip, Upsolute, Dinan, Singh

Upsolute $400, Dinan/Singh $700ish... Why price difference? You get what you pay for apply here, or just marketing? lol

Well before you look at this option....you might want to ask yourself are you any of the following:
1. Rapper
2. Columbian
3. Straight baller and money grows on trees (where $249 doesn't mean jack to you)

If you answered no, to any of these you STILL might be able to get a good tune, but you will also have a high possibility of terrible service.
