i can't decide which software upgrade to go with for my 550i....as far as power gains, reliability, and cost....
dinan is listed at $699 for stage 3...the Upsolute $350 +$30 for shipping and the Power chip is $490....
any thoughts

Race precision is working on a new tune with ess that has some solid gains. So far it's shown more gains than previous RPI tunes.

I've been thinking of the same comparison and after speaking with Upsolute via email it sounds good but I think it all comes down to convenience.

If you have an update or something done to your car and you lose your Upsolute, Powerchip or Singh tune that would require (for me at least) you to have to take the ECU out, ship it back to where ever and have it re-tuned. They should all be free but having to do that is a pain in the ass and means a couple days without the car.

So Dinan looks the most appealing to me for this reason. Still haven't justified paying $700 for a couple bhp though..
