wow to think you did all that with razors and little picks ahah! nice! its a shame bmw doesnt give us the option to change those out without cutting the part out -_-

Is this eybrow ok to do on pre LCI with adaptive xenons? I am concerneed about removing the headlights and it screwing something up inside them.

i have the lCI e60 M5 2008 model, what sort of SMD or LED do i need, pease povide me with the full spec.
+ anyone dont it for the LCI 2008+ models please share some pictures.

i have read that 2008+ e60 LCI models uses SMD LEDs lights on the eyebrow, what type of SMD, size, mah at what voltage and where can i buy them link also a picture would help alot

Eugene excellent idea n awesome.. I have 5series e60 and did exactly da
Same but eyebrows bulbs keep blowing after few days no idea why as I am using
The same smd bulbs now circuit board ain't working so I took off te circuit board
And replaced it 6 led lights each side it looks nice but funny thing is one side works at
A time loll if I plug in both eyebrows right hand lights dims n doesn't glow to it's limit, bit confused
What to do now any suggestions wud highly appreciated

It comes down to the quality of the LEDs and whether or not you're running them to spec and not beyond it (which is why it blows out).

Hi , Great Mod and idea.I wanted to ask a question. I'm doing this mod but am having some problems with the led i bought 12 white led 4-pins from radioshack but when i installed them my leds gets different color some are white and some or kinda yellow.But yet the bags say white leds. Its alittle hard to see in the photo but you can tell the 1st led is different that the second one.
