I've not looked too deep into it yet, but provided i can remove the section of headlight without a problem, can you recommend any particular process to follow to re-seal the light unit?
I read that there is a chance of some of the white LEDs purchased could end up being yellow, is there an easy way to check without actually installing them and finding out the hard way? I have a link to the following LEDs from the UK, shown below, can you please verify if these are the correct ones for the pre-LCI with standard halogen lights?

Sealing it back, just make sure u shave it down straight / the edges to be clean and put the sealant on the plastic piece inside so that when you slide it in, it can mesh easily inside.

The pics are deceiving. I believe he had R-dash angel eyes, which digital pictures enhance the brightness. In actuality, the output is white and dim. :thumbsdown:

have to agree with this statement...in fact, it seems like the Orion is the only AE for pre-LCI that can be seen in day light. I currently have the Mtec and it is barely visible during the day.

Hi Guys, I really like the look of this mod and are contemplating this myself. I have a couple of questions if anyone can answer them;
1, Does that mean the new LED's must go in a certain way?
2, After removing the plast piece, is it easy to remove the actualy circuit board, is it simply screwed in, or do you have to hack at it to get it out?
3, Does anyone have any UK contacts for getting these super bright white LED's? (high quality is a must).
Thanks in advance.
